SERVICES AND RATES:

Water:  $14.00 per month plus an additional charge of $1.00 per each 1,000 gallons of water used by the consumer.
Sewer:  $5.00 per month flat rate will be charged to each user.
Garbage:  Garbage service is provided by Steve's Sanitation and charges for garbage services are included on the monthly water and sewer bill.  Fees vary according to the type of service and frequency of pick up.

COMMUNITY CENTER:

The Oconto Community Center was completed in March of 2003 after a tornado destroyed the old community center on Halloween of 2000.  Grant funds from The USDA and The State of Nebraska Department of Economic Development along with local funds enabled the village to construct the new building.  The building consists of a Kitchen, Auditorium, Senior Center and Public Library.  The building is open for use to the public and rental information is available at the village office.
